
Part of the Van Cleve Hotel was its famous watering hole,
the Wagonwheel Bar. The various patrons of airpower frequented
the place.

When Hap trained on the simulator, he did it inside the
aircraft factory itself. The sim was comprised of an aircraft
jacked up and placed on sawhorses. What a long way we've come
with our modern simulators!

Before flight manuals or "Dash Ones" were
invented, photos were used with writing on various parts
to describe them.
